Noongar Elder Eugene Eades would greatly appreciate your help to make repairs and improvements at Nowanup so that it is set up well for a rich year of Noongar cultural events
Eugene’s vision for Nowanup is for Noongar people and the wider community to have a place ‘On Country’ to find healing, learn from the Land (“Boodja”) and learn about Noongar cultural ways.
Proposed Activities
- Repairs to the Broombush cladding at the Meeting Place
- Painting and repairs in the Cottage and shed
- Improvements to the camping area
- Enjoying music and culture and being in harmony with the land.
Accommodation
This is a camp for men, women and families. BYO camping gear. There is some accommodation.
Costs
Please allow a contribution of $100 per person, partners $50 and children under 16 $25. This is towards Eugene’s sharing, accommodation and materials for the working bee. In addition there is a contribution towards shared food. Travel in shared cars. Payment is best by cash on the day.

Donations towards Eugene’s cultural work and Nowanup would be greatly appreciated. Tax deductibility is available. Please contact Rod.
Leave Perth 8 am Friday 19th. Return to Perth Sunday 21st or Monday 22nd. It is a 6 hour trip to Nowanup.
